Denver Ballet Theatre Academy’s Summer Intensive offers a 4-week experience for students to advance and expand their training by challenging their bodies to develop greater strength and control. Our world-class faculty specializes in providing frequent and personal corrections to every student in the room. Their persistence and attention to detail will embolden them to come out of their comfort zones which will progress their technique and leave a lasting impression on your dancer's training.

Guest Instructors
Zhanna Dubrovskaya
A native of St. Petersburg, Russia, Zhanna Dubrovskaya trained at the famed Vaganova Ballet Academy, and graduated with Honors in 1968. For over 20 years, she was a soloist with the Mikhailovsky Theatre, where she became an accomplished ballerina with worldwide recognition in classical and contemporary works.
Zhanna is a well respected and sought after master teacher and choreographer, and has staged numerous classical balletsfor major companies (including Colorado Ballet) and competitions throughout the United States and Europe. She is internationally respected and known for her preservation of the purity, musicality, and aesthetics of the Russian classical ballet technique and traditions.
Today, her students perform in major dance companies throughout the world. Many have gone on to teaching, choreographing, and staging ballets nationally and internationally.

Tatiana Yatsenko
An accomplished ballet dancer with over twenty two years experience performing solos and other leading roles in many classical ballets. Tatyana was a Principal Dancer with the Moscow Classical Ballet Theatre for over ten years. She was a Principal Dancer with the New Jersey Ballet Company for twelve years. She graduated from the Moscow Academic Choreographic College (today the Moscow Academy of Choreography) and has been received recognition for her achievements in ballet, including from the International Competition (Dushanbe, Tajikistan) named after Malika Sabirova and the Al Bustan International Festival of Music and the Arts (Beit Mery, Lebanon). Tatyana has been a member of numerous international tours, including performances in the USA, Russia, Japan, France, Italy, Spain, Norway, Belgium, China, Mexico, Canada, Germany, Turkey and Holland. Tatyana has been providing professional ballet teaching for more than twenty years at many ballet schools including New Jersey School of Ballet and Dance Academy of North Jersey.
