At Denver Ballet Theatre we believe Ballet is a performing art. We are dedicated to providing stage experiences that will enrich our students' lives in ways that only a performance can. From gaining the confidence to perform in front of a live audience, to showcasing their technique.
As a 501(c)3 organization we are committed to bringing education, entertainment and outreach to the community to build public appreciation of dance. 
Denver Ballet Theatre Academy proudly offers the finest Vaganova-based training in the Denver Metro area. A renowned international faculty provides students with a complete classical training program. Our students are provided with ample professional performance experiences in which they perform most roles and share the stage with international guest artists. Gaining the confidence to perform on stage in front of a live audience is an important step in every dancer’s career. The professional faculty have had careers of their own performing professionally, they provide each student with the understanding of what it really means to take their dance skills from "studio to stage” with joy and confidence. DBT Academy’s students  are educated on not just the technical elements of this art form, they receive a unique emphasis on the historical and cultural aspects of the art as well, so they can better understand the artistic context of the performance. Our students are taught discipline along with many other skills that they can use in all aspects of their lives. The faculty provides the same level of caring, support and individual attention to every student, encouraging students to develop and maintain a positive attitude towards themselves, the faculty and their peers.
