Placement in the elementary division is based on a combination of many factors, including age, ability, coordination, maturity, strength, cognition, and group interaction. Students often spend several years in each level as they progress and develop their skills.

Parent/totAn interactive movement class designed for young dancers (18 months+) and their parent/caregiver. Each class will introduce the dancing duo to exercises to develop rhythm, coordination skills, spatial relationships, and social skills. Toddling dancers will improve cognitive development by using story-time imagination.

Pre-Ballet ComboA Ballet/Tap combo class that focuses on creative movement, musicality, basic positions, movements, and terms of classical ballet, with exercises to develop skills.

Ballet & Tap 1Class is structured around mat-based conditioning exercises and center work focusing on musicality, strength, flexibility, coordination, and classical ballet terminology and movements.

Ballet, Jazz & Tap 3Students expand their skills by the diversification of the vocabulary introduced at this level. Barre work is emphasized to prepare the muscles for more difficult center work,
attending class three times a week to increase strength and stability. End-of-year evaluations are introduced at this level.
